| | | Welcome to Indian Mountain! As a graduate and parent at the school, I have maintained a strong connection with Indian Mountain for the past 35 years. I have held a role on the admissions team for the past six years. Giving back to a school that has been such an important part of my life is rewarding and makes my job as director of admissions a pleasure and an honor.
As a student, the core values at IMS of honesty, compassion, respect, and life through service made a lasting impression on me and were fundamental in the formation of my character. The life lessons I learned at IMS, the connections I made with the faculty, and the strong academic foundation I received have served me well throughout my years.
While many new and exciting offerings at Indian Mountain have been added over the years, to this day, the core values and traditions at IMS remain the same, and it is for that reason that my three boys attended the school. My husband also attended Indian Mountain, and as parents we know that the early years of a child’s education are the most formative. The strong foundation in character and academics that IMS provides is paramount to a student’s success in higher education. I truly believe that Indian Mountain is not only about what we teach our students; it is about what we teach them to become.
