Lisa started her career at Northfield Mount Hermon School as a member of the Arts Department and Director of the Nada-Mason Gallery. After a decade at NMH, she entered the admissions world as an Admissions Officer at Sonoma Academy in Santa Rosa, CA. Most recently, Lisa served a number of different roles at the Cape Eleuthera Island School in The Bahamas, including teacher, faculty mentor, and Director of Arts. As Assistant Principal at the Deep Creek Middle School, Lisa expanded partnerships with the marine research program at the Cape Eleuthera Institute and applied her background in admissions to help guide local families through the application process to U.S. boarding schools.
Lisa is an outdoor enthusiast. An avid swimmer, she is certified in Rescue and Advanced Open-Water SCUBA and is passionate about protecting our oceans and watersheds. She recently combined her love of art and science as the illustrator of the recently published book, Wild Bahamas: An Illustrated Ecology of The Bahamas. She is looking forward to her return to the Northeast and is excited to explore the trails, waterways, and wilds of this region.
Lisa lives on the Millbrook School campus with her husband, Leigh, and their two children, Forrest and Ingrid. Leigh is the Director of Sustainability and teaches science at Millbrook. Ingrid is a fifth grader at IMS and Forrest is a ninth-grade boarder at The Bement School in Deerfield, MA.
