Co-ed junior boarding and day school for students in grades pre-kindergarten through nine
Tuition for the 2017-18 school year is as follows:

Upper Campus Boarding Tuition: $59,610
(includes tuition, room and board)
Boarding Deposit: $5,961 (10% of tuition)

Upper Campus Day (grades 5-9) Tuition: $30,805
(includes tuition and lunch)
Day Deposit: $3,080 (10% of tuition)

Lower Campus Tuition (grades PK through 4): $19,540
Lower Campus Deposit: $1,954 (10% of tuition)


Fees, many of which are billed on a monthly basis, that can be incurred at Indian Mountain include:

Parents will automatically be enrolled in the the Tuition Refund Plan, at a cost of 4.0% of the net tuition. To be eligible to waive the Tuition Refund Plan, parents must pay tuition in full and sign and return our Tuition Refund Waiver by August 1, 2017.

International Services Fee (mandatory for international students):
Annual fee of $4,500 to cover postage, telephone, travel coordination, admissions travel, student support, secondary school support/advising, and other expenses associated with international students.

Accident Insurance (optional): Covers $1,000 of eligible expenses per incident for a cost of $149.

Activities: Materials for special activities and hobbies not included in the regular curriculum.

Allowance: $10 is issued each week to boarders.

Computers: If applicable, charges for iPads and related expenses (ebooks, apps, insurance, etc.).

Damages:
The School assumes all normal wear and tear, but students should understand that they are responsible for all willful or easily avoidable damage to school property.

ESL (English as a Second Language): Grades 7,8,9 meet 4-15 periods per week with a lead and resource instructor where needed. 
ESL Level 1 - $2,958/year
ESL Level 2 - $5,917/year
ESL Level 3 - $7,436/year
Grade 6 (if required) receives one-on-one instruction and follows the tutoring fee schedule.

Health Services Fee: $250/year for boarders.

Laundry: Laundry charges are billed three times yearly commencing in November (estimated at $975 per year).

Music Lessons (Upper Campus): Private music lessons are billed in four installments over the course of the year ($1,700 per year).

Photo (Sports): Athletic team photos.

School Store: Individual purchases including textbooks, supplies, shampoo, toothpaste, sundries and athletic items (apart from uniforms and equipment supplied by the school). CT sales tax is charged on taxable purchases.

Telephone: Parents and students can purchase calling cards in the school store.

Testing: Charges for aptitude and achievement tests administered by the School, testing at centers for SSAT and special testing required by preparatory schools or requested by parents.

Transportation (student): Transportation for medical visits, to and from airports, trains and buses at vacations and weekends.

Trips (school): Tickets, meals, transportation for special trips and entertainment, and secondary school admission interviews.

Tutoring: Optional instruction (supportive and remedial), billed in three installments over the course of the year.
