The IMS Parents Association (PA) exists to foster a sense of community and help parents be involved with the school. All parents of current IMS students are members of the Parents Association. There are several ways parents may become involved with the school. Many of these opportunities are initiated and organized by the Parents Association and the IMS Development Office.

Parents from each grade are selected to function as liaisons between their respective class, the school, and the parent body. The role of the parent grade representative is to support the IMS community by contacting parents by grade level and recruiting volunteers to support specific IMS and PA events.
PARENTS ASSOCIATION FUNDRAISING
The PA sponsors and supports fundraising activities and welcomes involvement of all parents.
Volunteers are welcome in the IMS libraries. An Adopt-A-Book program occurs at various times during the year. This program gives parents and grandparents an opportunity to expand our library collections by purchasing books in a child's or teacher's name.
