Co-ed junior boarding and day school for students in pre-kindergarten through grade nine
Spacious art studios, a full faculty of professional artists, and an extensive range of courses highlight the visual arts at IMS. Students enjoy a high level of personal attention in large-scale group efforts as well as individual work.

The IMS art curriculum helps all students develop a strong working knowledge of many artistic mediums and disciplines. We encourage children to look at others’ perspectives and always embrace differences. There are no mistakes in art class.

Our art instructors bring energy and passion to their teaching. More than anything they wish to instill an appreciation for art and a desire to create. Our program is rich in opportunity and inspiration, giving students the freedom to find their artistic voices.
