Kevin grew up in nearby Millerton, NY. He graduated from Binghamton University in 2007 with a B.S. in Computer Science. From there, he worked in enterprise software development in Boston, MA for three years. With an interest in natural sciences and passion for environmental protection, Kevin moved to Corvallis, OR in 2010 to apply his software skills to develop methods for monitoring and researching forest ecosystems with satellite-based technology at Oregon State University.
In 2015, Kevin returned to his hometown of Millerton, NY following a more than four month long trek on the Pacific
Crest Trail. Upon returning to the area, Kevin discovered his love for teaching and working with children while instructing snowboarding at Catamount Ski Area in Hillsdale, NY. This led him to The Kildonan School, where he taught a variety of middle and high school math and science courses. After two years at The Kildonan School, Kevin joined IMS in the fall of 2019. In his free time, Kevin can often be found enjoying his favorite outdoor activities: snowboarding, biking, hiking, climbing, and camping.
