Catie has recently returned to Connecticut after many years of travel, exploration, and adventure. She originally grew up in North Canaan and attended Indian Mountain School during her formative years. After leaving CT, Catie went on to earn her B.A from the University of Richmond in psychology and art, and subsequently, her M.S. in Organizational and Social Psychology from The London School of Economics. After finishing her formal schooling, Catie embraced her love of the wilderness and outdoor adventure, spending the next portion of her life traveling and working extensively on the West Coast and abroad. She had the opportunity to live in some of the most beautiful areas of the country and beyond (Crested Butte, Yosemite, Jackson Hole, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Portugal, Spain), all while embracing a number of di?erent work experiences in the realm of education; from teaching outdoor education and sustainable farming, to extensive tutoring experience with Princeton Review and as co-founder of her own SAT prep program. Catie has recently returned to CT after teaching English at the University level in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, and is excited by the opportunity to return to Indian Mountain as a teacher. In her free time, Catie enjoys cooking, ultimate frisbee, crossword puzzles, trivia, arts and crafts, photography, hiking, walking her dog, book clubs, gardening, and board games.
