Taylor Rathbun is a Lower School teaching assistant and works with students and faculty in Grades 1-4. A recent graduate from Emmanuel College in Boston, Taylor returns to the southern Berkshires where she was a graduate of Berkshire School in Sheffield, Massachusetts. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in developmental psychology and a minor in graphic design, Taylor’s most recent experience includes working as an assistant teacher and intern at The Children’s Center in Brookline, MA, where she assisted with curriculum planning, supported classroom procedures, developed child-centered activities, and engaged with children. For the past year, Taylor has served as a Portals Resident Teaching Fellow at the Hotchkiss School, providing supportive counseling to residents, assisting with routine daily care and services, and enhancing classroom productivity and a favorable learning environment. Taylor’s volunteer experience includes organizing recreational activities and games for students, as well as assisting with their academics at Mission Grammar School in Boston. During her free time, Taylor enjoys playing a variety of sports, traveling, and spending time with
her dog Bailey.
