Tom Vorenberg is a lifelong New Englander. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1983 and earned his M.A.T. from Tufts University in 1987. Tom has taught at seven different independent schools over the course of his 33-year career. In that time, Tom has taught Humanities to grades five through nine. He joined the Upper Campus in 2020 and commutes to IMS from his home in Norfolk, CT, which he shares with his partner and head of Lower School, Amy. In the warmer months, Tom is an avid Red Sox fan, golfer, hiker, and Angler. When the snow flies, he’ll often be skiing, taking the dog on snowshoe hikes in Great Mountain Forest, or sitting in front of the fire reading about our nation’s past.
