The Box that Makes a Difference
The Box that Makes a Difference is designed to solve subtraction problems. The box has the number “82” on it. A student then takes a card with a number on it from the top of the box, for example “14.” After the student solves the subtraction problem, 82-14, another student checks the answer by taking a card from the bottom slot of the box, which is the answer (the difference), and it’s always right!
