Faculty Opportunities
Indian Mountain School is seeking part-time academic tutors at our Grades 5-9 Campus. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of children’s academic, social, and emotional development, with experience specifically from a variety of learning backgrounds. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and passionate about mathematics, computational thinking, and student-centered pedagogy. Coaching Opportunities
Indian Mountain School seeks qualified athletics team coaches in a variety of sports for its grades 5-9 Upper Campus Athletic Program. Coaches report to the Director of Athletics and work with a co-coach or head coach. We are currently seeking coaches for the Winter and Spring seasons.
Coaching philosophies that support team growth and sportspersonship are required. Athletic and/or coaching backgrounds in hockey, swimming, skiing, and lacrosse are helpful, but not required, as is a Connecticut Public Service License endorsement.

Indian Mountain School seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor file management, payment scheduling, and account reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely disbursements. The IMS Lower School is searching for a caring individual who enjoys supervising young children in and overseeing fun and artistic activities to join our Afterschool team. The position works with the Afterschool Program Director and other assistants to create a pleasant, joyful, and safe atmosphere for all students.
Duties include assisting the Director from 3:00-5:15 pm with responsibilities such as greeting children, setting up activities, keeping areas neat and organized, monitoring the classroom and play areas outside to ensure safety at all times, and establishing a pleasant and efficient atmosphere with parents during pickup time. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are preferred, and candidates must be able to work outside in cold weather and inclement conditions to monitor outdoor play and watch sports games.
