Prior to joining IMS as our Director of Communications, Emily was a senior school administrator in New York City, working in admission, marketing, and communications roles. She also worked for more than 20 years in the TV industry, as a producer and writer, before changing careers to work in education. The daughter of a diplomat, Emily was born and raised overseas, returning to the United States to earn her B.A. in English Literature from Augustana College and her M.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College. Along with her communication role, she is a dorm head, yearbook editor, and advisor. She lives on campus with her husband and their three children. She loves being active, sailing, and enjoying good meals with family and friends.
