How to Apply

We’re excited that you are interested in Indian Mountain School! Below you will find the application steps and deadlines for students in Pre-K to Grade 9. Reach out to our Admissions Team with any and all questions!

Applying Grades 5 to 9

7-Day Boarding: Grades 5-9
5-Day Boarding: Grades 5-9 (Limited Availability)

  1. Complete our online inquiry form.
  2. Email or call to schedule a campus tour and interview. It is not necessary to have completed the application prior to the visit.
  3. Complete our online application. We also accept the Standard Application Online (SAO).
    • Transcript, teacher recommendations, and testing (if applicable) can be sent directly to the Admissions Office.
    • International applicants are required to take and submit a TOEFL Junior test.
  4. If applying for financial aid, please contact the Admissions Office for details.

Decisions are made on a rolling basis. Deadlines for international students may vary. To inquire about particular deadlines, please contact the Admissions Office.

Applying Pre-K to Grade 4

  1. Complete our online inquiry form.
  2. Email or call to schedule a tour of our Lower School. It is not necessary to have completed the application prior to the visit.
  3. Complete our online application.
  4. For 2024–2025 Pre-Kindergarten applicants, attend our winter on-campus group screening/play date:
    • January 20 for priority consideration with an admission notification in early February.
    • Rolling admission following if spaces are still available. Please contact the Admissions Office for openings and more information.
  5. For 2024–2025 applicants K – Grade 4, attend a full-day classroom visit during the school year. Please contact the Admissions Office for openings and more information.
  6. If applying for financial aid, please contact the Admissions Office for details.

Decisions for K-Grade 4 are made on a rolling basis.
