We welcome day applicants for grades Pre-K through 9 and boarding options beginning in grade 5.     7-Day Boarding: Grades 6-9 / 5-Day Boarding: Grades 5-9 (Limited Availability)

    1. Please contact the Admissions Office or complete our inquiry form online.
    2. Schedule call or email to schedule a campus tour and interview. (It is not necessary to have completed the application prior to the visit.)
    3. Complete our online application and parent questionnaire. We accept the Standard Application Online (SAO).
    4. Submit your teacher recommendations, transcript, and standardized testing results.
    5. The Admissions Office may request a WISC test or additional testing.
    6. A TOEFL Junior test is required for international applicants.
    7. If applying for financial aid, please contact the Admissions Office for details.
    Decisions are made on a rolling basis. (Deadlines for international students may vary). To inquire about deadlines, please contact the Admissions Office.
  • Applying Grades Pre-K to 4 >

     
      1. Please contact the Admissions Office or complete our inquiry form online.
      2. Schedule a tour of our Lower School. We offer individual family tours or small group information visits (depending on availability). Please call or email us to book an appointment. (It is not necessary to have completed the application prior to the visit.)
      3. Complete our online application and parent questionnaire.
      4. For 2020-2021 Pre-Kindergarten applicants, attend one of our on-campus group screenings/play dates. We will be offering the following dates for families to join us: February 22 (for priority consideration with an admission notification on March 1) and April 20 (if spaces are still available with an admission notification on May 1).
      5. For 2020-2021 applicants K - Grade 4, attend a full-day classroom visit during the school year.* Students typically arrive around 8:30am and spend time in the classroom, recess, and lunch with potential classmates to experience a "day in the life" at IMS. Please contact the Admissions Office for openings and more information.
      6. If applying for financial aid, please contact the Admissions Office for details.

    Decisions for K-Grade 4 are made on a rolling basis.
