Tuition for the 2020-21 school year is as follows:

7 Day Boarding Tuition (Grades 6-9): $66,659
(includes tuition, room and board)
Boarding Deposit: $6,665 (10% of tuition)
 
5 Day Boarding Tuition (Grades 5-8): $62,460
(includes tuition, room and board)
Boarding Deposit: $6,246 (10% of tuition)

International Boarding Tuition: $71,640
(includes tuition, room and board)
International Boarding Deposit: $7,164 (10% of tuition)

Upper Campus Day (Grades 5-9) Tuition: $35,175
(includes tuition and lunch)
Day Deposit: $3,517 (10% of tuition)

Lower Campus Tuition (Pre-K through Grade 4): $22,785
Lower Campus Deposit: $2,278 (10% of tuition)


Fees, many of which are billed on a monthly basis, that can be incurred at Indian Mountain include:

Parents will automatically be enrolled in the the Tuition Refund Plan, at a cost of 4% of the net tuition. To be eligible to waive the Tuition Refund Plan, full tuition payment must be received by August 1.

Accident Insurance (optional): Covers $1,000 of eligible expenses per incident for a cost of $58.

Activities: Materials for special activities and hobbies not included in the regular curriculum.

Lower Campus Ascend Program: Additional $7,000

Upper Campus Ascend Program: Additional $10,000

Allowance: $10 is issued each week to boarders.

Computers: If applicable, charges for iPads and related expenses (ebooks, apps, insurance, etc.).

Damages:
The School assumes all normal wear and tear, but students should understand that they are responsible for all willful or easily avoidable damage to school property.

ESL (English as a Second Language): Grades 7,8,9 meet 4-15 periods per week with a lead and resource instructor where needed. 
ESL Level 1 - $4,000/year
ESL Level 2 - $8,000/year
Grade 6 (if required) receives one-on-one instruction and follows the tutoring fee schedule.

Health Services Fee: $300/year for boarders; $150/year for day students

Laundry: Laundry charges are billed three times yearly commencing in November (estimated at $1,118 per year).

Lower School Supplies: $450

Music Lessons (Upper Campus): Private music lessons are billed in four installments over the course of the year ($1,830 per year).

Photo (Sports): Athletic team photos.

School Store: Individual purchases including textbooks, supplies, shampoo, toothpaste, sundries and athletic items (apart from uniforms and equipment supplied by the school). CT sales tax is charged on taxable purchases.

Testing: Charges for aptitude and achievement tests administered by the School, testing at centers for SSAT and special testing required by preparatory schools or requested by parents.

Transportation (student): Transportation for medical visits, to and from airports, trains and buses at vacations and weekends.

Trips (school): Tickets, meals, transportation for special trips and entertainment, and secondary school admission interviews.

Tutoring: Optional instruction (supportive and remedial).
