An eight run third inning sparked the Falcons in an 11-3 victory over Chase Collegiate on Wednesday.  In a strong defensive effort, the Falcons committed no errors and allowed only three runs in six innings of play.

Tim opened up the third inning with a base hit and two stolen bases.  The bases were then loaded as John walked and Colin reached on error.  Luke also reached on an error, allowing one run to score.  Conor followed Luke with a double to deep right field, allowing an additional two runners to cross home plate.  Additional walks and a second hit by Tim earned the Falcons another five runs.  In the fourth inning, back-to-back doubles by Colin and Luke led to another three runs for the Falcons.

Henry and Chris shared time on the mound.  Henry, in the first four innings allowed one earned run and struck out three.  He was helped by putouts at first base by Chris.  Chris relieved Henry in the fifth inning.  In two innings, he recorded two strikeouts and allowed two earned runs.  Chris was also aided by two putouts in the final inning by Jack at first base.
