The 6th Annual IMS Diversity Day is Monday, April 30 and we’d like you to be a part of it.  Would you like to run a workshop? Work with a group of students? Do you know someone who would be interested in presenting a workshop? Or, are you unsure of a topic but would like to participate?  If you answered “yes” to any of these questions please contact co-advisors of the Diversity Committee:  Joanna Fontaine at ext. 158 or Colleen Schopp at ext. 223 by Friday, April 20.

In years’ past Diversity Day has included visitors from Special Olympics, speakers such as the Regional Director for Special Olympics, musical performances by Los Clegos Del Barrio – a Latino group from New York City, Amenn-Storm Abo Hamiz, an award-winning poet and the Peace Pole installation took place.

As you can see the day is a busy one and is also packed with workshops and features a wonderful international-themed lunch.

If you are interested please download the form, fill it out and return it to either Joanna Fontaine or Colleen Schopp.
