Varsity baseball fell to Berkshire in a home game despite a late inning comeback.  The team improved upon their previous outing against Rumsey Hall by stranding only three runners on base.

In the top of the third, Berkshire broke open the game, increasing their lead from one to six runs with three consecutive hits.  IMS was able to close the lead in the final, fourth, inning by scoring four runs.  The effort was sparked by a single hit by Henry.

John, Zane, and Clayton also contributed to the offensive effort of the Falcons with timely singles, runs scored, and RBI’s.  On the mound, Jack started the game strong, allowing only two runs in the first two innings, and earning two strikeouts.  After Berkshire’s spark in the third inning, he would be relieved by Henry.  Henry pitched the last two innings, yielding four runs, and earning one strikeout.
