The Varsity Girls and Boys Lacrosse teams performed well in their respective lacrosse tournaments over the past two weekends.

The Varsity Girls Lacrosse team competed in the Greenwich Country Day Tournament, and defeated Foote School and tied Rectory School. They fell to a strong Greenwich Country team, but were lead by Cate Sinclair, Erika Knapp, and Jacqui Culver controlling the middle of the field, and Ellie Traggio with multiple goals in each game.

The Varsity Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Boston to compete in their annual tournament at Fenn School. IMS defeated Faye School and Shore Country Day, while tying Fenn School and eventual champions Fessenden School. Leo McCray and Matt Brewer led the defense, while Henry Hoyt, Henry Quiantance, and Nick Traggio led the team in scoring. Ethan Coleman dominated at the face-off X, and picked up over twenty groundballs. The team also brought home the trophy for best sportsmanship.

In other IMS athletic news, Golf team split their matches with Housatonic and Hotchkiss, with Jason Park and Simon Dong scoring well for the boys side, and Marylin Fang shooting the top score for the girls.

Varsity Baseball lost 4-3 against Mt. Everett, and gave up only one hit in the game on the back of Max Rhie on the mound.
