The IMS junior varsity lacrosse team played an excellent game against Berkshire Country Day School on Wednesday.  The Falcons displayed improved passing throughout the game and utilized some new offensive plays.  Despite the Falcon’s good play throughout the first half, BCD had established a 3-1 lead by half time as IMS attackers were unable to get shots past the BCD goalie.  Kyle scored the only IMS goal of the half.

IMS began to chip away at the BCD lead early in the second half, when Ernesto scored following good defensive play by Carlos.  The Falcons tied the game in the fourth quarter when Daniel hit the back of the net with a shot close to the BCD goal.
With one minute left, BCD scored despite great hustle from the IMS defense.  IMS tried to get a goal in the last minute to tie up the game, but BCD controlled a crucial face off with thirty seconds left to secure the victory.

It was a tough loss for the Falcon team, and they look forward to their next meeting with BCD on Wednesday, May 12.
