Hoops for Food is More Than a Competition

Each year, we collect non-perishable items for the Corner Food Pantry. This year, IMS families donated several hundred items and our boarding community also bought items like coffee, cereal and cooking oil. These essentials will help those living with food insecurity.

The donations also count as the “admission fee” to the Hoops for Food basketball games, where mixed teams of students, faculty and staff of all ages and skill levels face off in an afternoon of friendly competition.  

Thank you to all who donated, and to our IMS community for coming together with joy and generosity.
