INDIAN MOUNTAIN SCHOOL HOSTS HOLIDAY MARKETPLACE

Free Admission; Open to the Public

Indian Mountain School is pleased to announce its annual Holiday Marketplace to be held on Friday, December 5, 2014, from 3 pm to 7 pm in the new Student Center at 211 Indian Mountain Road in Lakeville, CT. Featuring live music, craft activities for children and a showcase of handmade goods, including home accessories, fine foods, handcrafted jewelry, clothing, and seasonal decorations from more than twenty-five vendors from throughout the tri-state area. The Holiday Marketplace is open to the public and also includes a drawing for prizes. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Corner Food Pantry, a wholly volunteer organization that provides regional residents with ingredients for more than 10,000 meals a month.

A highlighted list of vendors includes artisanal cheese from Lost Ruby Farm (Norfolk), animal paintings by Joel Haynes Art, vintage and collectible books from Darren Winston Books (Sharon), handmade espadrilles by Lulu Espadrilles (Litchfield), as well as scented soaps and candles by Asia Luna and clothing by Jay McLaughlin (Millbrook).

During the event, there will be a drawing for prizes worth more than one thousand dollars, including an overnight stay and dinner for two at the historic Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA, and a Tasting Tour at the Berkshire Mountain Distiller’s new headquarters in Sheffield, MA; and a seasonal gift basket from Harney Teas. Tickets for the drawing are five for twenty dollars. All proceeds from ticket sales benefit The Corner Food Pantry.

Holiday Poinsettias will be available for pick up at the Holiday Marketplace. Place your order for poinsettias by November 25 for the December 5 pick up.
