Nicky scored three goals, and Jake made numerous saves in what amounted to a disappointing loss for the IMS squad after a hard fought match.  The team had moments of brillance, both on offense and defense.  Some of the best play was displayed at midfield, as athletes won contested balls and turned them upfield.  Nicky was the star of the day.  His hustle and fast-paced play kept Salisbury running all game, and each shot he took was on target.  His first goal was scored off a free kick just outside of the box, the second on a penalty kick, and the third off a cross from the left side.  Dimitrios beat two defenders to score the team’s fourth goal, while Michael connected his ball with the back of the net following a shot off a beautiful pass from Chase.  Jake had another good game defending the Falcon net, while Gerard and Alejandro played determined and tough defense against the older and aggressive Salisbury players.  It was an important game that provided the team with invaluable experience to build upon as they move forward in their season.
