The junior varsity boys soccer team won their first game of the season on Wednesday when they defeated Kildonan on the road, 5-1.  Coach Doria remarked the game was “a good start to the season,” and he was pleased with the team’s overall performance.  Wes and Duncan both contributed two goals to the Falcon victory, and Min Chan scored another decisive goal.

The offensive effort was helped by the Falcon backfield, who proved themselves stalwart defenders of the net.  The group’s effort was led by Greg, who played a very strong game at sweeper, and also by Cormac in goal.  The boys coordinated their successful defense with crisp transition passing to the midfielders.

Other noteworthy contributions were made by Aiden and Jin Lim.  Both boys played with a great deal of intesty throughout the match.  Falcon coaches hope the team carries that intesity into their next mathup on Friday at home against Berkshire Country Day School.
