IMS is excited to introduce our new Assistant Director of Athletics, Matt Orlando. He will also be teaching two sections of seventh grade English, advising, and working residentially. Matt comes to us from Cardigan Mountain School (Canaan, NH), where he coached JV football, JV basketball, and JV baseball. Matt has always had a passion for athletics. Starting lacrosse in second grade, he fell in love with the playing field. Throughout middle school and high school, Matt played numerous sports including football, basketball, and lacrosse. After attending Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, Matt then went on to attend Cushing Academy where he played varsity football, JV hockey, and was captain of the varsity lacrosse team. He also received two sportsmanship awards for his lacrosse team at Cushing. Matt will be a great addition to the IMS coaching staff. He was the defensive coach for the freshman lacrosse team at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in 2006. He also was the offensive varsity lacrosse coach at Brattleboro Union High School in Brattleboro, VT in 2010, where the team reached the semi-finals.

Matt will be the primary contact for day student permissions (Fall: Wednesday afternoons; Winter/Spring: Wednesday & Friday afternoons) and the athletics section of our website. He can be reached at 860-435-0871 x 152 or via email Matt_Orlando@indianmountain.org
