The varsity boys lacrosse team played Millbrook’s JV team on Friday. The Falcon’s fought hard despite losing 9-2 to the skilled and physical Millbrook team. The IMS defense continued their good play from the previous game and only gave up 2 goals in the second half. The Falcon offense also began to come alive. The team moved the ball and created quality chances. Falcon players took more shots on goal during this game than in previous matchups, but the Millbrook goalie came up big in many situations. The practice the IMS team put in last week paid off, and the coaches plan to have a similar week of practice building towards games on Friday and Saturday against Hotchkiss and Rumsey respectively.

Some standout players were goalies Daniel and Spencer, defenders Ben and Jake, midfielders Andrew and Patricio, and attackers Aidan, Duncan and Morgan.

The Falcons look to keep improving and take and agressive step forward in the upcoming games.
