Varsity girls lacrosse played at Miss Hall’s on Wednesday, April 28, and won with a score of 13-2. The team got a slow start and lacked focus, but they rallied after allowing two goals early in the first half, making the score 3-2. By the conclusion of the half, the Falcons were ahead 7-2 and did not allow any further goals in the second half.  The defense played so well that Ms. Halls’ only had two shots, both of which Tess, the Falcon goalie, saved, bringing her save tally for the game to a total of five.

Grace had three goals today, one scored with her non-dominant hand off of a free position penalty shot, the other assisted by Courtney. Courtney also had one goal, assisted by Frankie. Devon had four goals, two assisted by Morgan and one assisted by Eloise. Morgan scored twice, one with an assist by Maya, Eloise scored twice, and Lexi had her first goal of the season. Grace, Eloise, Morgan, and Frankie led the team with ground ball control, and Emily had one interception.

The Falcons play their next game at home against Canterbury on Friday.
