Welcome New Faculty and Staff

Ariel Bush joins IMS as the Middle School Associate Teacher. She received her B.A. from Connecticut College.

Dave Edson is the newest member of the Middle School team and will also be working with our drama department. He received a B.A. from Ithaca College.

Emily Gargill is both an IMS parent and spouse, so she is certainly not new to the IMS community. She joins us this year as our Lower School Science and Language Teacher. She received her B.A. from Union College and her M.S. from St. John’s University.

Kyle Halloran joined IMS this summer as our Director of Residential Life. He will also be running the Upper Doolittle dormitory and teaching in the Upper School. He received his B.A. from Fairfield University and his M.S. from Northeastern University.

Darla Kokoszka joins our Middle School team as the language teacher and is also teaching Spanish in the Upper School Foreign Language Department. She received her B.A. from St. Lawrence University.

Lynn Marlowe is the newest addition to our counseling team, with a wealth of experience working as a social worker and counselor. She received her M.S.W. From SUNY Albany and her B.A. from Dominican College.

Ethan Parsons will be working across both campuses and all grades this year as our Life Skills teacher. He received his B.A. from the University of Connecticut.

Carrie Russo joins the Lower School as the Pre-K Teaching Assistant. She will be supporting the Early Childhood Center team with one of our biggest Pre-K classes to date! She received her B.A. from College of Our Lady of the Elms and her M.S. from Mount Saint Mary College.

Kevin Soja steps into a formal role at Indian Mountain as the Associate Director for Constituent Relations in our Development Office. Kevin received his B.A. from Colby College and his M.A. from the Teachers College, Columbia University.
