David hails from the area growing up and having attended Millbrook School just across the border in Millbrook, NY. A graduate of Skidmore College, David arrived at Indian Mountain in the fall of 2009 and has spent time teaching in the English and History Departments, advising the Student Council, and coaching and advising students of all ages. David currently teaches Early U.S History to seventh graders and Modern U.S. History to eighth graders. A residential faculty member with over 22 years of experience, David enjoys getting to know the boarding community as an affiliate working in all of the dorms and coaching varsity ice hockey in the winter and boys varsity lacrosse in the spring. David lives in Sharon, CT with his wife Juliana, daughters Paisley and Harper, both of whom are graduates of Indian Mountain School, and his two labrador retrievers, Willow and Timber. In what free time David can find, he continues to enjoy playing hockey, woodworking, traveling, being outdoors, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
