Summer Programs

When the school year ends, we keep on going. In July and August, we make the most of our 600-acre campus with a variety of engaging and fun programs: Theater, Lacrosse, Moviemaking, Dance, Basketball, Ropes Course Training, Outdoor Leadership, Soccer, and more.

Join us for summer on the Mountain!

All of our summer programs are co-ed. Many are half-day programs (morning or afternoon), which can be combined for a full-day experience.
Adventure Theater and Adventure Art

Participants in “Adventure Theater” will work with instructor Danny Tieger from 9:00am-12:00pm to become storytellers, writers, and performers as they create an original piece of theater magic. The week culminates with a final performance which family and friends are invited to attend. This program is designed for children ages 5-11.

“Adventure Art” provides an afternoon blend of outdoor exploration and artistic discovery. From 12:00-3:00 pm each day, participants will be inspired by nature to create crafts, engage in STEM activities, and enjoy exciting games. This program is designed for children ages 5-11.

You can choose one Adventure or the other, or combine the two for a full day of fun!

Kids ages 10-15 will get hands-on experience with a variety of  cameras and lenses, audio equipment, lights, and more, and learn from a seasoned cinematographer about composition, lighting, and story structure, as well as how to run a small film set (What does the producer do, really? Who makes the final decisions? What’s a grip?) Kids will then team up to write, shoot, and edit a short movie, and screen it at the end of the week. Students may sign up for either week, or both!
