Faculty Opportunities
Indian Mountain Lower School is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support learning and play in our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of children’s academic, social, and emotional development and will possess cultural competency and a commitment to equity in instruction and student interaction. Experience with outdoor education would be a bonus. Candidates should be flexible, joyful, able to jump in where needed, have a collaborative nature, and take an optimistic approach to problem-solving.
Staff Opportunities
Coaching Opportunities
Indian Mountain School seeks qualified athletics team coaches in a variety of sports for its grades 5-9 Upper Campus Athletic Program. Coaches report to the Director of Athletics and work with a co-coach or head coach. We are currently seeking coaches for the Winter and Spring seasons.
Coaching philosophies that support team growth and sportspersonship are required. Athletic and/or coaching backgrounds in hockey, swimming, skiing, and lacrosse are helpful, but not required, as is a Connecticut Public Service License endorsement.
