The IMS Falcons took on Kent School in their first match of the season on Wednesday, April 21.  The time and effort the players put into practice since day one showed as soon as the Falcons took to the courts.  All six singles players won their matches, exhibiting improved skills in all aspects of their games.  Alton won 8-2, Lee 8-2, John 8-0, Maria 8-2, Alejandro 8-2, and Michael 8-6.  Each player looked impressive in their season debuts. 

Michael remained confident throughout his hard fought match.  He came from behind to defeat his opponent 8-6 and complete the Indian Mountain sweep of the singles competition. 

In doubles competition, the Falcons #1 team of Lee and Maria won 8-3, #2 doubles, consisting of Zach and Derek, won 8-5, and Luke and Filippo defeated their opponents 8-1 while playing as the Falcon’s #3 team. 

IMS ended the day with a 7-0 (Love) win and looks forward to their next match against Salisbury on Friday.
