The JV girls lacrosse team walked off the field victorious for the first time this season on Wednesday.  The Falcons faced Berkshire Country Day School ready to prove their worth after a rough game against DDS last week.  The team improved ten-fold, which was reflected in the final score of 13-7.

Every girl contributed to the success of the team’s success as nine different girls scored, there were two interceptions, and IMS played achieved four draw controls.  Annie led the flock with three goals while Maddi and Fuko had two apiece.  Eva, Maggie M., Elle, Anais, Avian, and Yu Jin all scored a goal as well.  The interceptions were made by Anais and Katherine.

Katherine also did a stellar job in goal.  She and Morgan each played a half and had a total of nine saves to help keep the Falcons in the game.

Thank you to all the fans who came out to support the team.  The IMS girls play their next game on Wednesday, May 12, when they face BCD for a second match-up.  The game is at BCD with first draw scheduled for 3:30 PM.
