Michael grew up in Amenia, NY. After working at Oblong Books and Music for eight years he decided to go back to college to study adolescent education. In 2011, he completed his Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts. That same year he began his studies at SUNY New Paltz. In 2014, Michael graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a degree in Adolescence Education with a concentration in Social Studies. Michael’s interests include visiting historic sites and anything involving the outdoors. He also has an interest in photography.
During the summer of 2014 Michael moved into Stockton Dorm on the Upper Campus with his wife Michelle, our Lower School Kindergarten Teacher, and their son Emmett. He teaches study skills and digital skills at the Upper Campus. In addition to teaching, Michael is co-director of the After School program at the Lower Campus.
