Lauren is a licensed clinician who received her B.S. in Psychology from St. Lawrence University and an MSW in clinical social work from the University of Connecticut. She began her work with children at the Wolfeboro Camp School and the Stoneleigh Burnham School. Lauren has worked with children and families in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, mental health centers, and residential treatment facilities. At IMS, Lauren provides individual and group counseling to students on the Upper and Lower Campuses and acts as a consultant for the faculty in various capacities. Additionally, she chairs the Life Skills Department and the Student Support Team. Lauren has lived at and worked in schools for over 30 years and currently lives at the Hotchkiss School with her family. She is an IMS parent of three alumni in classes ’08, ’12, and ’15. When not working, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and downhill skiing.
