Alex was born and raised in upstate New York and earned his B.A. from Hamilton College in 2009, where he double-majored in political science and music. After graduation, Alex moved to Washington, D.C. and began a career as a paralegal in a high-profile criminal defense firm. In 2011, he changed fields and to joined the teaching profession at the Indian Mountain School. Alex teaches 9th Grade English and history and is the school’s Dean of Faculty, overseeing professional development, staffing, and orientation. He lives on campus with his wife and two children. Alex loves the outdoors and makes the most of scenic Northwest Connecticut. His interests include running, tennis, cycling, bluegrass music, and cooking.
