Danny Hutnick is a dedicated clinical social worker and educational leader with 15 years of experience advancing children’s mental health, well-being, and social-emotional growth across New York City and the Hudson Valley. He holds a Master of Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work, where he specialized in clinical practice with children and adolescents.

Throughout his career in school social work and leadership, Danny has been guided by a core philosophy: every child possesses unlimited potential, and with the right social-emotional learning supports, there is nothing they cannot achieve. He is thrilled to bring this student-centered approach to Indian Mountain School, collaborating alongside neighbors, colleagues, and friends to foster a supportive learning environment.
Danny lives locally in Sharon, Connecticut, with his husband Will and their son.
