Lisa has worked as a teacher and administrator in independent schools for almost thirty years. She began the first decade of her teaching career at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts. After a move to Northern California, she gained enrollment experience in the Admissions Office at Sonoma Academy in Santa Rosa. Prior to IMS, Lisa enjoyed living on a small island in The Bahamas as a faculty member at the Island School Semester Program and later as arts coordinator with the Cape Eleuthera Institute. While serving as the assistant principal at the South Eleuthera Deep Creek Middle School, she applied her background in admissions to help guide local families through the application process to U.S. boarding schools. Lisa is an avid hiker and swimmer and enjoys being outdoors, from mountains and lakes to oceans and the shore. She and her family live on the Millbrook campus and enjoy spending summers exploring the Berkshires.
