Lydia completed her dual major in Elementary Education and Behavioral Studies at The University of Hartford in 2004. She is pursuing her master’s degree in Reading Consulting. Lydia began her teaching career at Indian Mountain lower school first as a substitute teacher and later in 2005 as the Spanish Language Instructor. She currently works at the Indian Mountain lower school as the librarian, assistant reading and language specialist, and as the after-school enrichment program coordinator. In addition to reading and writing, Lydia enjoys traveling and seeking new adventures, cooking, hiking, swimming, boating, spending time with family and friends, and much more. She is passionate about sharing her love of adventure and learning with the children at the lower school.
