The Sharon Playhouse was filled with music, laughter, and joy last Thursday as our second through fourth grade students in our “Putting on a Show!” after-school enrichment program presented an enchanting production of Mary Poppins, Jr. Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, we were able to continue this wonderful Lower Campus elective for a second year. Under the expert direction and choreography by Sharon Playhouse’s Michael Baldwin and Sarah Cuoco, and musical direction by IMS’s Tamra Stephenson, students met weekly for two terms, memorizing lines, learning songs, blocking, and choreography. All their hard work culminated in two performances of Mary Poppins, Jr. on the Sharon Playhouse stage for the entire IMS Community and friends. From the whimsical sets to the delightful songs, every moment was a testament to the hard work and creativity of our young students.

A huge round of applause to everyone involved – the actors, the crew, the creative team, and the supportive families who made this production possible. Your dedication and passion shone through, making this after-school partnership a super-cali-fragilistic success!
