Students on both campuses performed an impressive selection of musical numbers during the week before winter break.

On the Lower Campus, the students’ songs took the audience on a global journey , reinforcing their yearlong study theme of IMS Travels the World.

On the Upper Campus, the IMS orchestra performed Bach, Haydn and Purcell with precision, the drum ensemble entertained us with a traditional African Fredoba, the Mountain Voices sang Love Me Tender and Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, the 8th and 9th grade guitar class jammed a Bob Marley tune, and the Rock Band finished with a spot-on version of Pat Benatar’s Heartbreaker.
