Led by Chris B. (11 points), Sherman (5 points), Ian H. and Chong (4 points a piece), IMS lost a close game to Salisbury. Down by three at the half, the team came back and held a five-point lead with five minutes remaining. After Salisbury evened the score at 21, the teams traded baskets. With less than one minute remaining, Chong tied the score. After Salisbury made two free throws, IMS was unable to score on its final two possessions during the game’s last 30 seconds.

On the defensive end, Ian H., Sherman, and Khaleel all played strong games, with Khaleel leading the team in rebounding.

Coach Pastore was very pleased with his team and their efforts.  “We played with a lot of effort and spirit,” Coach Pastore said.  “Considering that we had just returned from a long vacation, had only one practice, and went up against a taller Salisbury team, I was very impressed.”

The Falcons will take the trip to Renbrook this coming Wednesday for their next game.
