In a true team effort, IMS defeated Killdonan School.  Six different players scored in the contest.  In the first half, Love, aided by the well-timed assists of Anna, began the game with a flurry of baskets.  In her first varsity start, Kate finished the first half at point guard.  She distributed the ball to Jane and Kimmie, who finished the game with two and four points, respectively.

In the second half, the Falcons faced a stronger defensive front.  Haley confidently took over the role at point, where she drove to the hoop and scored on two occasions.  Jenna contributed to the win with her experienced play under the hoop. She blocked several shots, as Indian Mountain’s defense proved itself to be the deciding factor in the game.

The Falcons face their next opponent away on Friday against Hotchkiss.  Tip-off is scheduled for 4:15.
