The Bears played an outstanding game to earn a victory in their first home game of the season on Friday.  The offense did a great job working together to get the ball within shooting range by executing crisp passes and moving well without the ball.  At no point during the game did any of the forwards play selfishly.  The Bears teamwork was a major contributing factor in the final outcome.  The team’s defense also played extremely well.  They managed to keep the ball outside of the 18, while Henry, in the first half, and Spencer, in the second, split repsonsibilities working to direct the defense from their position as goalie.  The most noteworthy plays of the game were Dawson’s fantastic goal, Coulter’s first goal of the season, Liam’s excellent rushes with the ball, and the goalies shutout in the net.  The victory was a rewarding team experience.
