The Falcons went up against a much older, bigger, faster, and stronger Salisbury team on Friday.  The Falcons were able to keep up with Salisbury for the first few minutes, but could not break the full-court press, falling behind by a score of 20-3.  Once Salisbury took off the press, the game became more evenly matched.  The Falcons were much more aggressive in the second half and got within ten points of Salisbury before finally losing by a score of 40-26.  Jon continues to provide a great spark off the bench, bringing a fearless attitude onto the court.  John, Derrick, and Jake scrapped and battled hard for rebounds against much larger opponents.  Alassane, who struggled with Salisbury’s pressure defense in the first half, had a great performance in the second half, scoring nine points and playing with renewed confidence.  The Falcons look forward to their next game Wednesday, January 13, at home against Chase Collegiate.
