What a treat for our students on the Upper Campus to be able to set their regular studies aside for a day and try the unexpected or unfamiliar. Choosing among more than a dozen workshops, we experienced a range of sights, smells, tastes, sounds, and ideas that included the sharp tang of pickled Icelandic shark meat, the strong rhythms of African drumming and dance, and an abridged survey of world literature. We learned about the service trip to Cuba and watched an inspiring film, Endless Abilities, and met the filmmaker Zack. It was a diverse day designed to expand our thinking.

Be sure to check out the photos, video, and descriptions of the workshops.
