Indian Mountain School faced an experienced team at Hotchkiss in their third game.  Hotchkiss’ high pressure, man-to-man defense helped them to start the game with a 10-0 lead.  Claire broke the shutout with an outside shot, her first points of the season.  Toward the end of the first half, Love and Anna settled the offense with a number of fast break baskets.  The girls cut the Hotchkiss lead to six at halftime.

Hotchkiss began the second half with a number of offensive rebounds and two three-point field goals.  Love continued to lead on offense while Haley contributed a number of defensive steals.  The unforgiving rims did not favor IMS on this day.  The team finished the game with a loss, now 1-2 on the season.  IMS plays their next game on Wednesday, January 20, at Rumsey.
