In a very close match, the Indian Mountain offense struggled under the pressure of an older and more physical Hotchkiss team.  The match up in front of the goal between 7th grade athlete Will on attack and a 12th grade Hotchkiss defender highlighted the disparity between the size and athleticism of the two teams.  Despite their advantage, the Hotchkiss defense still felt pressure from Indian Mountain’s determined players.  A highlight was the first Indian Mountain goal, scored by Joey off an excellent feed from Auric.  The Falcon team also did a great job by keeping Hotchkiss from scoring during a double man down situation.  The defensemen contained the attack and held the Hotchkiss squad to only a few goals.  IMS coaches applaud their players’ mettle.

The team will play their next game on Saturday against Rumsey.
