The varsity girls’ basektball team came back from an 11 point deficet to win their game against Chase Collegiate in amazing six run that one spectator described as, “Thrilling!”  Tyla was the high scorer for the Falcons with 12 points that included some clutch baskets made late in the game.  Kimmie and Janessa also played important roles on the offensive end of the floor as Kimmie contributed 10 points and Janessa scored a key basket that turned the momentum to favor the Falcon in the fourth quarter.

The entire Falcon team showed incredible strength of character as they each stayed positive and motivated to overcome the Chase Collegiate lead to earn the victory.  Kate played the entire first half, directing the offense as the point guard, and Shirelle forced several jump balls that were critical to the team’s success.

Coaches Barillaro and Bliss were excited the team was able to earn the victory and delighted by their girls unwavering enthusiasm during the game.

The team will play their next game on Friday against Salisbury Central.
