On May 14, Emma Benardete ’18 was the Lower School Head for a Day, thanks to her parents’ generous auction bid, which earned their daughter the  privilege. Emma decided that a pajama party was in order and invited students to roll out of bed and attend school in their comfiest PJs. Teachers and a few parents joined the party in their robes and slippers. Emma greeted students at the door, led Morning Circle, and made important decisions throughout the day.

A week later, on May 23, Walter Krissel ’16 ran the Upper Campus for the day as a result of his parents’ winning auction bid. Walter took the role seriously even though he was wearing a Cookie Monster T-shirt for Character Day and had to reign over a bunch of other silly characters. Walter especially enjoyed visiting the Lower Campus and dropping in on a few of his old classrooms and teachers.
