IMS pitchers had trouble finding the strike zone on Wednesday, allowing fifteen walks in 4 innings of play in a game that resulted in the second loss of the season for the still experienced Falcon team.  While IMS was able to capitalize on a number of offensive opportunities to score nine runs during the game, the ineffective pitching, combined with errors made in the field, were the contributing factors in determining the eventual outcome.

Offensive standouts for the IMS team were Gerard and Jake.  Both boys reached base three times.  Gerard drew a walk an contributed a double and a single, while Jake hit two doubles and one single.

The team looks forward to two weeks of practicing without a game in order to improve their fundamental skills, pitching mechanics, and offensive production before playing Rumsey again on Friday, April 30.
